Physics 2305: Mayday Grade Report

All of the old comments still apply. See the April grade report to review these. Just to emphasize the most important comments:

If you are missing a problem set score, bring the graded problem set to me no later than Monday, 8 May. After that, I'll assume that you agree with your grade for everything except the last problem set (P14) and quiz (Q16).

Don't forget that these reports make no guarantees. The lab grades are still not included, and in particular, missing labs will have a significant effect on some students.

There is still no such thing as an "F+".

The grades are based on:

60%	Total weight
12%	Exam 1
15%	Exam 2
15%	Exam 3
12%	Problem sets
6%	Quizzes

Some facts:

My last rolls still included 257 students, although I know that at least 1 has officially dropped and 1 will take an incomplete. A couple others who claim they dropped are still on my rolls.
254 students took Exam 1; 244 have grades for Exam 2, and 233 took Exam 3.
For the sample of 244 students who I believe still might be attempting the course:
- Mean course average = 63.98 (corresponds to a straight C)
- Median course average = 66.28
- Average problem set score = 7.46
- Average quiz score = 5.70
