Physics 2205: Final Grade Report
By now, you've received your final grade reports by email.
The grades are based on:
- 25% Exam 1
- 25% Exam 2
- 30% Exam 3
- 14% Problem sets
- 6% Quizzes
Some facts:
- 146 students are still enrolled (although 9 didn't take the final).
- The average for all enrolled students:
- mean = 66.15 (corresponds to the C/C+ boundary)
- median = 70.81 (corresponds to a high C+)
- The average for the 137 students who finished the course:
- mean = 69.52 (correponds to a C+)
- median = 71.72 (corresponds to the C+/B- boundary)

Some more facts:
- Of the 172 students who enrolled for the course: 26 withdrew and 9
failed to take the final exam.
- Of the 137 students who took the final exam, only 1 failed the course.
- The average QCA for the course was 2.35, a bit high for me. But...
- Y'all were a very enjoyable group to teach. I admired your tenacity
with difficult material and your desire to learn. 'Twas fun, and I'll
miss y'all.
