Campaign 20 in normal ops will use the following standards. This plan is based on a campaign with a length of 18 days. target letter sp. F_12 (Jy) dec. HR 5467 A+ A1 0.21 +54 HR 6348 B+ K0 1.15 +61 ksi Dra C+ (primary) K2' 16.85 +56 HD 166780 D+ K4 1.16 +57 HR 7018 E+ A0 0.19 +62 HD 173511 F K4 1.19 +61 HD 59239 G K1 0.87 -70 BD+68 1022 H K2 0.10 +68 HR 7341 I K1 1.40 +49 Isara J red 0.89 +25 bet Gem K K0 124.6 +28 HD 48405 Z K3 0.48 -61 For a campaign lasting 18 days (plus any fraction), sources should be observed in the following order: 18-day schedule............... day sequence day sequence 1 A+ B+ 10 C+ D+ 2 J 11 G 3 C+ 12 I E+ 4 D+ E+ 13 F 5 J 14 H 6 G F 15 K D+ 7 H 16 F 8 K 17 I 9 A+ B+ 18 A+ B+ Extra: Z Note 1: The above schedule is tailored specifically to Campaign 20 to reduce end-of-day slews to the north. Note 2: The targets with a "+" after their letters will require an offset sky observation to be conducted immediately before or after them. These sky AORs are included in the AOR file, and they have similar labels, with the name of the target replaced with "sky". For example, calsfx-20A-HR5467 and calsfx-20A-sky are a pair. Note 3: Target J is a moving target. It must be observed prior to 0128 GMT 19 April 2005, as it will no longer be visible. The above schedule has its last observation on Day 5, which is 18 April. Note 4: Some targets are not visible for the full campaign. Target I is not visible until 0314 GMT 24 Apr 2005 (Day 11). Target K is not visible after at 0850 GMT 1 May 2005 (Day 18). The schedule above accounts for these visibilities. Note 5: Target Z is the 3619-sec double-star experiment. It is not on the above schedule. It can be freely scheduled at any time during the campaign between 23 April 2005 and 30 April 2005 (UT). Outside of this range of times, the 1 degree/day rotation of the slit will invalidate the purpose of the observation. Note 6: If the campaign is shorter than 18 days, the schedule above can be compressed by combining two one-standard days into a single two-standard day. If necessary, the third observations of Targets D and F can be eliminated. Note 7: If the campaign is longer than 18 days, the schedule above can be extended as long as one standard is observed each day. Note 8: In order to improve observatory efficiency, the scheduler should feel free to re-arrange the observing schedules above, as long as sources do not move by more than roughly +/- 24 hours, and as long as the spacing between successive observations of the same source remains roughly the same.
