Analysis of startup, shutdown and middle sequences, Campaign 21b Abstract: We processed this short piece of Campaign 21 as a separate campaign. The results are much like Campaign 21a (and previous campaigns), with all SRSRN results within limits, SL exceeding its SURN limit half the time, and LH exceeding its SURN limit all of the time (18.3-19.7 DN). SL showed some variation in read-noise stability, but the other modules were well behaved. The photoresponse stability test revealed the following misbehaving pixels: In LL: (52,4), (76,13); and in LH: (120,41), (62,65), (67,66), (15,74), (84,114). For SUR data, the quoted values are the standard deviation of the read noise map. For SRS data, these are the median of the standard deviation map. Comments: The SRS noise results are all within the limit, as usual. All SH and LL SURN results are alsow within limits. Two of the four SL SURN tests exceeded the limit, in both cases in the post-anneal data, and LH exceeded its SURN limit every time, with results between 18.3 and 19.7 DN. The SL SURN stability result exceeds the yellow limit with a 24% value, and LL showed a 13% variation. The other modules were better behaved, with SH at 1% and LH at 8%. This hasn't happened to SL before and probably reflects the fact that the campaign was too short to accumulate any latent images. In LL, the orders are clearly visible, as usual, and in LH, only the middle orders can be seen. The pixels exceeding the red limit are: LL: (52,4), (76,13) LH: (120,41), (62,65), (67,66), (15,74), (84,114)
